These Terms and Conditions govern the use of services provided by Reek's Apostille Notary Services (R.A.N.S.), including notary and apostille services, fingerprinting, and 24-hour Basic Unarmed Security Guard Training. By scheduling an appointment or utilizing our services, clients agree to the terms outlined below.


1. General Notary and Apostille Services

  • Identification: Clients must present a valid, non-expired government-issued ID. Copies or digital versions of IDs are not accepted.

  • Document Preparation: All documents must be completed prior to the appointment. Our notaries are prohibited from offering legal advice or assisting with document completion.

  • Witness Requirement: If a witness is needed, the client must provide one. An additional fee will be charged if R.A.N.S. provides the witness.

  • Service Fees: Notary fees vary based on the type of document, time of service, and additional requirements, as stated on the booking page.

  • Refunds and Cancellations: Cancellations made less than one hour before the scheduled time will incur a 30% cancellation fee based on the total service charge.

2. Fingerprinting Services

  • Availability: Fingerprinting services are available by appointment and are intended for background checks, employment verification, and other legal purposes.

  • Identification: Clients must bring a valid, non-expired photo ID to the appointment.

  • Fingerprint Quality: R.A.N.S. will make every effort to ensure the quality of fingerprints but cannot guarantee acceptance by all agencies.

  • Service Fees: Fingerprinting fees will be communicated at the time of booking and may vary depending on the type of fingerprint card required.

  • Refunds: Fingerprinting services are non-refundable once the session has started.

3. 24-Hour Basic Unarmed Security Guard Training

  • Training Scope: This training covers basic principles of unarmed security, including situational awareness, conflict de-escalation, emergency response, and applicable security laws.

  • Training Format: Clients can attend base training sessions in-office or request mobile training for an additional travel fee of $50 or $1.50 per mile if located more than 15 miles from our office.

  • Fees: The base cost for training is $150, with an additional $50 for on-site training or $1.50 per mile if the location exceeds 15 miles. A testing fee of $30 is also required.

  • Testing and Certification: Participants must complete a final assessment to receive certification. Test retakes may incur additional fees.

  • Cancellations and Refunds: Training cancellations made within 12 hours of the scheduled session are subject to a 30% cancellation fee.

4. Mobile Services

  • Service Areas: Mobile services are available within designated service areas. Travel fees of $1.50 per mile apply for locations exceeding 15 miles from our office.

  • Arrival and Wait Times: Clients must ensure timely arrival at the designated location. Extended wait times exceeding 15 minutes may incur additional charges.

  • Cancellations and Refunds: For mobile services, a 30% cancellation fee will apply for any cancellation made less than one hour before the scheduled appointment.

5. Liability Disclaimer

  • Accuracy: While R.A.N.S. strives for accuracy in every service, we are not liable for errors made by clients, including incorrect or incomplete information provided.

  • Non-Legal Advice: R.A.N.S. does not provide legal advice. Any information provided by our staff is general and does not substitute for advice from a licensed attorney.

  • Confidentiality: R.A.N.S. maintains strict confidentiality protocols to protect client information. However, we are not liable for information disclosure due to third-party actions or in compliance with legal requirements.

6. Payment and Fees

  • Accepted Payment Methods: R.A.N.S. accepts cash, credit, and debit cards. Full payment is required at the time of service unless otherwise arranged.

  • Fee Adjustments: Fees may be subject to change. Clients will be notified of any adjustments prior to booking or payment.

7. Changes to Terms and Conditions

  • R.A.N.S. reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Clients are encouraged to review these terms regularly.
